2023 Trujillo Morisoli Reserve 750
The 2023 vintage showcases everything I love about this
vineyard. The wine opens with generous, inviting aromas of
unrestrained dark fruits like black cherry, dark currant with a
hint of sweet tobacco, all accompanied with the infamous and
unmistakable signature of "Rutherford dust." On the palate, rich
layers of dark fruits of black cherry, lush currants and bitter-
sweet chocolate fill the glass, creating a wine that is both
powerful and beautifully polished. Refined tannins and vibrant
acidity provide balance, length, and structure, while allowing the
layers of fruit and complexity to unfold with every swirl and
every sip.
